Opticrom Allergy 2% w/v Eye Drops contains a medicine called sodium cromoglicate.
It works by stopping the release of the natural substances in your eyes that can lead to an allergic reaction such as itchy, watery, red, or inflamed eyes and puffy eyelids.
Ingredients
The solution contains 2.0% w/v of the active substance, sodium cromoglicate. Other ingredients are disodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride and purified water.
Usage Instructions
Please ensure this medication is used in line with the manufacturer’s directions. Always read the label.
One or two drops in each eye four times a day, or as directed by your doctor.
Discard after 28 days of opening.
Side effects
Like all medicines Opticrom eye drops may have side effects, but not everybody gets them.
Stop using and see a doctor if the itching, redness or swelling gets worse.
Talk to your doctor if side effects get serious, last longer than a few days, or any other side effects: Stinging, burning, irritation in the eyes or blurred vision, mild eye irritation.
Seek urgent medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction.
Speak to your doctor if you experience any side effects, even if not listed.
